I get the feeling that is very, very wrong.I think (I'm doing a nutrition course at university, but I haven't completely learnt all of the information yet) that sugar doesn't actually turn into fat unless you have a huge excess of calories anyway, especially if you have a huge excess of carbohydrates and fatty acids.I might be wrong, but the nutritionist was definitely adamant that a diet high in sugar actually increased your health, and those low in sugar decreased your health (as a general).

Mix up ur training, if you do the same training u will get stuck. Kinda like running, if you run all the time, and do not rest, you wont be able to run further.

It means to limit the number of carbs in your diet and don't overeat.

fruit contains fructose which is a type of sugar that is broken down in your body naturally, The kind of sugar you should be scared of is refined sugar..because it breaks down into fat. A moderate amount of fruit is actually very beneficial, you don't have to be worried about the fructose. Hope that helped.

What is a low-calorie, low-carb diet?
MisterQuebec (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
In my case, I've lost 27 pounds fairly easily thanks to a low-calorie, low-carb diet. Now I'm stuck at 170. I still have 10 pounds to go before not being in the overweight category. It's just a theory, but it seems that the weight I've lost is water. The 10 pounds I still have to lose is probably fat weight. That's why they are longer to lose. Just an opinion.

I like it when you say that some people consider their weight-loss as a race. I remember swearing at the balance when it was not showing the weight I wish it did. When embarking a weight-management program, give yourself a year. |
